How To Pay My Violation Ticket

If you've received a violation ticket and wondering what to do next:
Grab your copy of the violation ticket and on the back you will find the following information:
WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO PAY?
You may pat by mail by sending your cheque or money order, payable to the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC), in Canadian funds to the address below. Do not send cash in the mail. A receipt will NOT be sent back to you.

NOTE:
Your payment must be accompanied by a copy of the other side of this ticket, or a note including:
- the Ticket Number ((from the top right hand corner on the face of the ticket).
- your full name, address, driver's license number, and date of birth.
- the Violation Date, and Act and Section of the offence(s).
If you do not provide these details, your payment might not be accredited to you, and the ticketed amount(s) may remain outstanding. Dishonoured cheques will be subject to additional administrative charges.
You can pay in person at the following locations:
If you do not dispute the offence and pay the ticket within 30 days of the date you were served, you will receive a $25 deduction. This deduction only applies to Motor Vehicle Act or Motor Vehicle Regulations offences with a ticketed amount greater than $58.
This deduction does not apply if:

- ICBC claim centres;
- government agent offices;
- provincial court registries; or
- banks and other financial institutions (intersection camera tickets only).
If you do not dispute the offence and pay the ticket within 30 days of the date you were served, you will receive a $25 deduction. This deduction only applies to Motor Vehicle Act or Motor Vehicle Regulations offences with a ticketed amount greater than $58.
This deduction does not apply if:
- you are making a payment after 30 days from the date of service; or
- you are charged with committing an offence against a provincial statute other than the Motor Vehicle Act or Motor Vehicle Regulation.
