The Eagle symbolizes, vision, leadership and transcendence.  The Medicine Wheel recognizes the four directions, four nationalities and the four ages.  This signifies balance.  The eleven feathers represent the eleven St'at'imc communities within the traditional territories.  The blue inside the arrowhead-shaped recent patch represents peace and harmony.  The colours of red, yellow, white and black represent the four nationalities.
The collection of past patches displays the STPS transition from its beginning through to its recent patch; Stl'atl'imx Security, Tribal Peace Keeper, Stl'atl'imx Nation Tribal Police and STPS. In 2021 the STPS obtained a Trademark for its crest.
