Community Liaison Officers

Each of the ten St'at'imc communities served by the STPS has been assigned their own Community Liaison Officer.  The constable regularly meets with the leadership of the liaison community to discuss and address unique concerns.  The STPS endeavors to provide policing in a capacity that meets the needs of each respective community.  Excellent police presence in each of the St’at’imc communities is a priority for the STPS . The STPS strives not only to be seen in the communities but to actively engage and interact with its members. To ensure that these priorities are reached, the Community Liaison Officers report monthly on their community-based activities which include visits and road checks.  They also lead the Citizens On Patrol (COP) program in their community.
